Geographic Definition

The first step in any regional study is to define the region's geographical location. Locate several authoritative sources that describe the location of your region. Go to several maps and corroborate the source's definition of the location of your country. Write your own definition of the geographic location of your country and post it as a comment on this page. Read some of your classmate's definitions and see if you might want to refine your definition. Finally, place a link to a chart or map that you feel most demonstrates your definition. India is in Southern Asia, bordering the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal, between Burma and Pakistan. It borders: Bangladesh, Bhutan, Burma, China, Nepal, and Pakistan. It is the second most populated country in the world, and is host to three of the five peaks of the third highest mountain in the world. India is a cultural phenomenon on our earth, and an interesting country to learn about. It is a cool addition to all the countries I've heard about before, and this is only the first step on learning all about it. Geography is an important key to knowing about this place.
